One of life’s fundamental truths states, ‘Ask and you shall receive.’ As kids we get used to asking for things, but somehow we lose this ability in adulthood. We come up with all sorts of excuses and reasons to avoid any possibility of criticism or rejection. – Jack Canfield
Which is crazy when it is for help. I’ve finally learned, when you need help ASK FOR IT! When you get rejected, don’t ask that person again.
Exactly! I am not great with asking for help. I’d rather do things myself as much as possible. I often help too much, though. Guess I’ve never learned the art of moderation!
it is very easy to give, incredibly hard to ask.
Sometimes the help becomes the problem. There are some acquaintances who prefer to be the helper even though they asked for help.
Yes! I’d much rather help too, than ask for help. I guess, I don’t like to bother people too much, especially when I know I’ll be able to do it myself eventually.
I am trying to begin my outline for Kindle Publishing. I took a look in the Kindle Bookstore for “Of Opinions” with “0” results. Do you need help or do I need help ?
